Ward is born April 15th, 1975 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. Following the completion of her high school studies she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. She was a member of the dance and drill team. After a short period of time, after graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out of high school at 13 years old to begin modeling. After a few years she made the decision to try acting. Her first role was an uncredited character in 1970's soap-opera All My Children, and then was cast as the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Premier-Time Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the virgin Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she began her film career in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. The film in theaters was not a success, but it did have an initial success on the cable market and on DVD. Following the film, Ward starred in a supporting role in the hit movie Shallow Hal. Ward also was a guest on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD movies. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in the ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It being a part of the main cast for the series' first two seasons. She got married David C. Robinson, who was a producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.

Sandra Lee has achieved great recognition on social media thanks to her blackhead and pimple popping removal videos. Dr. Pimple popping has been one of the most popular names for her on You Tube Instagram Facebook. The TLC television show Dr. Pimple Popper has featured her in all six seasons. She also created her own skincare line.
